    The Brief

    Blue Vanilla were actively seeking for an effective art-direction and an updated brand identity in order to promote their stunning collection of high-street fashion clothing.

    Moreover an eCommerce re-platforming was needed in order to solve a variety of shop management issues and also create a more unified web development strategy with an updated responsive design, a highly visual and ultra functional portfolio and an easy-to-update blog.

    The Project

    A clean sans-serif based logo was designed that works perfectly for any digital or print use across an array of mediums, achieving in this way to provide the brand with a recognisable visual cue that’s easily perceived by the public and customers.

    A highly functional eCommerce site was developed with all the necessary settings that permits for easy shop management and also expandability to feature functionalities to be added as the business grows.

    Moreover we set up a blog and portfolio functionality, providing all the needed tools for easy content management with the least effort among the team; while at the same time resulting in an aesthetic outcome that complements the brand’s eCommerce website in the best possible way.

    Web graphics and banners were created in order to fulfill the needs of the homepage and generate clicks to single product pages thus increasing conversion. Homepage graphics span in a vast variety of graphic seasonal and conceptual styles with different dimensions dictating each time the layout template of the homepage; while usually include animated gifs offering movement and liveliness to the page.

    The Highlights

    Apart from the blogging functionality; extra capabilities were added to the site with the goal to create versatile and device-agnostic portfolio pages that communicate with the best way the brand’s seasonal collections.

    All portfolio pages are accessible by all mobile devices providing an easy way to access single product pages so the user can visit and add to the basket while the design of the portfolios maintained a high level of usability and aesthetics.

    Another highlight is undoubtedly the single product page design with a really beautiful layout letting the customer easily place the item in the cart, showcasing the product’s details and images while at the same time suggesting related products from a custom set product category.
